Coming from the South: Travel north from the center of Taos NM on Highway 64 for approximately 4 miles, to the intersection of Highways 64, 150, and 522.
Continue straight through the intersection, going north on Highway 522. Just past mile marker 15. You will see a green sign for “Lama”, and a blue sign for Taos County Road B-014 on your right.
Turn right (east) onto B-014….
Coming from the North: Travel south on Highway 522 over the New Mexico/Colorado boarder and continue 20 miles south to Questa.
At the Questa stoplight continue straight (south) on 522, approximately 5 miles, on top of the third large hill you will see a blue sign for Taos County Road B-014.
Turn left (east) onto B-014….
….Once you have turned onto on B-014: Proceed east up the hill on B-014 for approximately 1 mile until you reach a T intersection. Straight ahead at the T, there is red gate and a Sangre de Cristo Youth Ranch sign (#2031).
To get to Camp:
Turn right at the T and go south for about 1/10th of a mile. You will see a silver gate on your left, hung on an old tree.
Turn left through the silver gate. Proceed up the curvy, bumpy road for 7/10 of a mile, past the long rail fence on the right, until the road turns into a field, and we welcome you to camp!
To get to the Art Center, Community Farm, and Horse Facilities:
Go straight through the red gate (#2031) at the T-intersection. Proceed up the curvy, bumpy road, past the greenhouse and yurt, ending at the ranch house and barn. Honk or holler, and if we’re around, we'll help you out.
